ALLISON THOMPSON

Allison Thompson.jpg

Alli has a passion for health education, mobilizing community resources and partnerships while inspiring others to take action for a safer and healthier state and nation.

She obtained her undergraduate degree in Community Health Education from the University of Wisconsin Lacrosse in 2007.  She began her career as a Community Health Educator, working with students, teachers and communities to implement and sustain health education programming such as injury prevention, healthy eating and adolescent growth and development.

Since 2014, it has been one of Alli’s greatest honors to lead Project ADAM (Automated Defibrillator’s in Adam’s Memory) in the state of Wisconsin and Nationally.  Currently up to 21 programs in 17 states, the mission continues to grow, advocating for Heart Safe School programs, inspiring communities and survivors to join and take action and raising the bar on state and national policies that provide protection to our schools and communities.

In 2018, she completed her MBA with an emphasis in Healthcare Management.  She plans to user her new knowledge to further develop strategic growth for Project ADAM at the local and national levels and help prove the efficacy of life-saving community outreach programs.
