Adult Education 101

This course is geared towards educators and leaders interested in exploring how adult learners learn. This interactive discussion will explore the top current theories on how adults learn, what format they learn best and how to develop education targets to close current gaps seen through quality data and performance. It will culminate in identifying how to show gap closure evaluation and department metrics.

Jennifer Cuske-Dunn BSN, RN, CHSE is a simulation educator for Advocate Aurora Health with over a decade of expertise in adult education and a certified simulation educator. She currently manages educational activities and instructs educators in the technique of simulation to promote practice change. Prior to becoming a nurse, she was a career paramedic in Wisconsin and North Carolina.
