License Renewal Period
For the 2023-2026 license renewal, all education requirements must be completed between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2023.
Be sure to attend WEMSA Virtual Summit 2022, WEMSA 2023 or Become a WEMSA Member for continuing education opportunities that me meet either the state and NREMT license renewal requirements.
For the 2026-2029 license renewal, all education requirements must be completed between July 1, 2023 and June 30th, 2026.
WEMSA Continuing Education Certificates
Starting July 1st, 2021, you must maintain an Active WEMSA Membership for WEMSA to hold onto and provide any Continuing Education (CE) Certificates for training for past events, webinars, or conferences. All CE Certificates are sent out after the completion of a course, webinar, past event, or conference. We are not responsible for technical issues related to the receipt of prior certificates. It is your responsibility to hold onto certificates in a secure and accessible location. You can Join WEMSA for as little as $30.

The Wisconsin EMS Association (WEMSA) is a CAPCE accredited organization providing continuing education credits for EMS professionals.​

If your CE certificates that are CAPCE approved through WEMSA are not appearing in NREMT, you must contact CAPCE to make sure that you NREMT license number was correctly entered in for the systems to properly connect.
